What clients usually want to know
How long does post-production take?
Allow around two to three weeks for the first edit. Once we receive your feedback, we schedule the changes and prepare the final videos for delivery.
How do we give feedback?
You receive an online review link where you can click on the video and add comments. Once your team has consolidated its feedback, we make the agreed changes.
How many rounds of edit changes are included?
The Half Day package includes two rounds of edit changes and the Full Day package includes three. Your written quote confirms what is included and the rate for any additional changes before production begins.
What is the difference between a hero video and a cutdown?
The hero video is the main edit. A cutdown is a shorter version made from the same footage for a particular channel or audience. We agree on the purpose, duration and format of each video before production begins.
What happens on the day of filming?
Our two-person crew arrives, confirms the filming spaces and sets up the required camera, lighting and sound equipment. We then work through the agreed filming plan, allowing time to move equipment between setups.
How many videos can we produce in a full day?
The standard Full Day package includes two hero videos and four cutdown edits. For a simple social content series, it may be possible to plan up to ten videos as a custom output package. Your producer will help define what is realistic for the available filming time.
What dates are available for filming?
Availability changes from week to week. Contact us with your preferred dates and we will confirm the closest suitable options. Weekend and public holiday filming can also be quoted when required.
What if we want the raw footage?
Raw footage and project files are not included in the standard package price. If you need them, ask us to include the purchase option in your written quote.
Can we film outside Sydney?
Yes. Sydney Video Producer works with vetted production professionals across Australia and internationally. Travel outside the agreed Sydney area may involve additional costs.
